We know a lot about trainers. We know considerably less about sports bras – despite the fact that, for many women, they are the piece of kit that makes exercise possible.

Bra By was a quarterly digital series exploring the subject through the experiences of athletes and catalysts, each guest editing an issue. They talked about breasts, exercise, movement and their own experiences of wearing sports bras.

I led the editorial development and writing, shaping the issues with the guest editors and developing features, styling stories and the Never Asked Questions series about breasts. Alongside Nike’s innovation, the work made room for a more honest conversation about bodies and being active.
